After being sent in by Victoria, Cameron Bancroft has lead the way for WA on day one of their Shield Clash bringing up his third Sheffield Shield ton of the summer.
As we have come to expect, resident cricket librarian Matt Fiction has penned a Haiku poem to celebrate his work.

WA recovered from being 5-114 to finish day one at 6-291 with Josh Inglis not out 88 and Joel Paris finishing on 46 when stumps were called.

Katie Mack and Erica Kershaw have helped lead the ACT to victory in their final WNCL game of the season. Kershaw finished with a well made 52 while Mack playing her 50th WNCL game was dismissed just five runs short of a century.
Katie had a magnificent season with the willow finishing with 418 runs for the season with a very healthy average of 59.71.
Erica and Katie were both very popular guests on the Cricket Library Podcast last year.

Katie Mack has had a stellar start to the WNCL season sitting on top of the leading run scorers list for the Abode Hotels ACT Meteors with 323 runs which puts her third of all the batters in the WNCL competition this summer. She has flourished at the top of the order setting a solid platform for her team with consistent contributions.
A regular in the Meteors line up for some time now, Katie will register her 50th game in the WNCL this weekend when she lines up against the Scorpions.
