Introducing the Cricket Library Fitness Community
We’re excited to launch something new for the Cricket Library family — a fitness community built to bring us together off the field, in the gym, on the road, and wherever else we choose to move.
The Cricket Library Fitness Community is now live on Strava and INTVL, and it’s open to every member of our cricket family who wants to chase a healthier, stronger version of themselves alongside people who understand the grind.
Why We’re Doing This
Cricket has always been more than a sport for our community — it’s a way of connecting people, building discipline, and pushing each other to improve. We see fitness the same way. Whether you’re working on your bowling speed, building the endurance to bat through a long innings, or simply trying to feel fitter and more energised in everyday life, the journey is always easier with people in your corner.
That’s the idea behind this community. It’s not about elite athleticism or hitting personal bests every single day. It’s about consistency, encouragement, and celebrating the small wins that add up to real, lasting change. We wanted to create a space where members could log a run, a ride, a strength session, or a recovery walk, and know that their effort is being seen and cheered on by people who genuinely want them to succeed.
What You’ll Find on Strava
Our Strava club gives members a simple, familiar way to track and share activity. If you already use Strava to log your runs, rides, swims, or gym sessions, joining the club takes seconds — and it instantly connects your existing activity feed to the wider Cricket Library community.
Inside the club, you’ll be able to:
- Share your workouts and see what everyone else in the community is up to
- Give and receive kudos on activities, big or small
- Join community challenges and leaderboards designed to keep motivation high
- Discover training partners among fellow members who share similar goals or schedules
- Track your own progress over time, using Strava’s built-in stats and segment tools
Whether your idea of movement is a competitive interval session or a relaxed weekend walk, there’s a place for it here. The goal isn’t to compare yourself to anyone else — it’s to show up for yourself, consistently, with a community cheering you on.
What You’ll Find on INTVL
Alongside Strava, we’ve also set up a presence on INTVL — and this is where things get a bit more playful. INTVL turns your running and riding into a game of territory. As you complete loops on the map, you claim that ground for yourself & the Cricket Library, building out your own patch of territory with every session.
It’s a brilliant way to add some extra motivation to your runs and rides. Suddenly a session isn’t just about the distance or the time — it’s about the loop you’re going to carve out, the territory you’re going to claim, and whether someone else in the community might come along and try to claim it back. For members who love a bit of friendly competition, INTVL adds a fun, strategic layer to everyday training.
Together, the two platforms give our community flexibility — log and celebrate everyday activity on Strava, and turn your runs and rides into a territory-claiming game on INTVL whenever you’re after some extra motivation.
Who This Is For
This community is for everyone connected to Cricket Library — players, coaches, parents, staff, and supporters alike. You don’t need to be the fastest, the fittest, or the most experienced to belong here. You simply need to be willing to show up.
Some of our members will be training for competitive seasons ahead. Others will be using this as motivation to build a healthier lifestyle, form new habits, or simply move a little more each week. Whatever your starting point, this community is designed to meet you there and support you as you grow.
We also know that consistency is hard to find alone. Life gets busy, motivation dips, and it’s easy to let fitness slide down the priority list. That’s exactly why we built this — because a quiet nudge of encouragement from someone who’s on the same journey can be the difference between skipping a session and showing up anyway.
How to Get Involved
Joining is simple. Search for the Cricket Library Fitness Community on Strava and request to join the club — approval is quick and open to all members of our cricket family.

From there, head over to INTVL to start claiming your own territory on the map, one run or ride at a time.

Once you’re in, start logging your activity, give kudos to fellow members, and don’t be shy about sharing your own sessions. The more people who get involved, the stronger and more motivating this community becomes.
Let’s Build Something Together
Fitness is a long game, much like cricket itself. There will be good days and difficult ones, moments of real progress and moments where showing up at all feels like a win. Having a community around you changes how that journey feels. It turns individual effort into something shared, and shared effort has a way of keeping people going long after motivation alone would have run out.
We can’t wait to see the Cricket Library Fitness Community grow. Whatever your goals — sharper performance on the pitch, better everyday health, or simply a group of like-minded people to keep you accountable — there’s a place for you here.
Jump on Strava, connect on INTVL, and let’s pursue healthier choices and maximise our potential, together.
